Organisational, social and art-based research methods for One health studies.
A winter school for Phd students and early career researcher
02 – 05 December 2025
IMT-BS, 9 rue Charles Fourier, EVRY, France
The One Health approach invites you to reconsider how health is researched. A scossy way will be explored. The winter school aims to explore and develop appropriate methodological approaches in management and social sciences at the intersection of two key dimensions:
1) the ethics of care, as a guiding principle; and
2) creativity and innovation, particularly in relation to the arts,
to rethink approaches towards a more global understanding. The seminar will consider how to integrate these two dimensions into research practices, showcase innovative achievements and put these discussions into practice. One day will be spent at Aapise a care organisation for vulnerable populations as an investigation site, as well as a visit to Genopole (French leading biocluster) and a cultural event.
Contributions will be theoretical, practical and multidisciplinary, to invent new approaches to studying to one health.
There is no charge for participation, but attendees will need to pay for their own travel, accommodation and evening meals.
